Mayor Lee had a visit yesterday from Paris Mayor Bertrand Delanoe to renew their vows as Sister Cities. In what can be described as a lovefest, Lee said it had been "too long" since Delanoe's last visit, and the Parisian mayor invited Lee to visit Paris this year. "In San Francisco, there is so much talent and so much serious culture that I want to open my doors to them," Delanoe said. Considering we're in the middle of a pretty serious housing crisis, some might take up Delanoe's offer. As a gift, the city gave Delanoe a set of large photos of the Golden Gate Bridge since the old gal celebrated her 75th anniversary this year. [SF Appeal]
