Was: $11,500,000
Now: $10,000,000
You Save: $1,500,000, or 13%! Back in May we featured the Julia Morgan house at 3377 Pacific Avenue in swanky Presidio Heights, on the market for $11,500,000. Looks like the historic shingled mega-manse didn't get much of a bite, since it's just been chopped by $1.5 million. The the 6-bed, 6-bath house along the Presidio wall was designed c1908 by turn-of-the-century starchitect Julia Morgan (of Hearst Castle fame) for a college friend's mother. While the exterior still reads old-school San Francisco, the interiors have been extensively remodeled over the years, including an elevator and wine tasting cellar, with little remaining of the original Julia Morgan paneling or built-in furniture. Readers, what'll it take for this shingled beauty to land a buyer?
