Architecture and the City's closing party is this Thursday and it's paired with four GOOD design challenges that will be presented during the party. The idea is that "clients" like SF Travel and the SF Bike Coalition hook up with designers like Gensler and the Bay Area Young Architects to find solutions to the city's most pressing issues. What kind of issues, you ask? Well, Gensler's been challenged by SF Travel to create a City that is easier to navigate for tourists and residents. And the Department of Emergency Management has challenged LUNAR to figure out how to bring better earthquake preparedness to San Francisco residents.
