Thumbs Up for Chinatown Hospital

New, 3 comments

Mayor Lee gave final city approval to spend $160M to rebuild and expand a historic hospital in Chinatown. The Chinese Hospital at 845 Jackson Street was built in 1924 and is the last independent hospital in San Francisco. The project includes demolition of the office, the construction of a state-of-the art seven-story medical facility, and seismic upgrades. [CBS SF]
