Cloud software company Salesforce.com is giving $10 million in grants focused on improvement in health care, education, and employment in a coordinated effort to help transform San Francisco's District 10 southeastern neighborhoods. The Salesforce.com Foundation's financial contribution will be combined with at least 100,000 volunteer hours from Salesforce.com employees and access to the company's technology products for nonprofits serving the area. Grants are going to the Southeast Health Center, the Exploritorium, Year Up, the Campaign for Hope SF, and the UCSF Medical Center. [SF Gate/Salesforce.com]
