Gas prices on the West Coast could go up as much as $.20 a gallon, according to the Wall Street Journal. The fire at Chevron's Richmond facility on Monday and Tuesday may have been extinguished, but the refinery accounts for 10% of the West Coast's gasoline and is expected to be out of commission for months. Aside from the potential injury to one's wallet, there don't appear to be any civilian injuries. Although breathing vaporized sulfuric acid can't be all that good for you in the long run, right? In 2008 a judge shut down Chevron's quest for renovation, citing insufficient environmental disclosures. [WSJ/Photo Credit: Reuters via WSJ]
