City vs City

It's gotten to the point where the city's so desperate for cash that it's begun citing itself for violations. The former police station at Third and 20th street that was abandoned by the SFPD in the 1990s has a notice of violation tacked to the exterior of the building for failing to comply with the city's vacant building ordinance. The ticket for failing to comply was for $765 -- plus penalties for a total of over $7,000. [SF Appeal]
