By way of the San Francisco Film Commission the SF Appeal tells us that Wood Allen's in town to direct a romanic comedy about "a woman trying to make it on a budget when she moves to San Francisco after her posh New York City lifestyle comes crashing down." Because San Francisco is definitely where the budget conscious should retreat to after a botched attempt at NYC living. A commissioner said Allen and his crew will be filming around the Bay Area for all of August. Live or work in the Mission, the Avenues, Pacific Heights or the Marina? Be on the lookout for film crews, as you might spot a rumored cast member like Alec Baldwin or Louis C.K. [SF Appeal/photo via cinemafestival/Shutterstock.com]
