Desperately Seeking Shelter

New, 1 comment

Ninna Gaensler-Debs had a class assignment where students were tasked with finding an affordable apartment in the city for a person with a minimum-wage income. She learned that supply is so low and demand is so high, that people are going way beyond the norm to secure a place to call home. One spot she looked into was a basement apartment with a functional "working dungeon." She could, of course, use any of the equipment for free. Within 24 hours there were 35 candidates for the place. Head over to The Bold Italic to see what extent folks have gone to in order to secure a lease agreement. [The Bold Italic]
