Last night, the newly-formed Citizen Advisory Committee had its first meeting with San Francisco officials and Warriors team head honchos to discuss the new arena the Warriors want to build on Piers 30-32 in time for the 2017-18 season. The committee's made up of 16 neighborhood residents and business owners. Neighbors are concerned about the number of events that the arena would have to host per year to be profitable (120-200). The next advisory committee meeting is September 6, where the topic of conversation will be transportation. [SF Examiner]
