Today's the day that San Francisco's port will vote to start official talks with the Golden State Warriors about the team's proposed waterfront arena. If the port agrees to an exclusive negotiating agreement with the Warriors, it means they get to start talking about the lease terms for Piers 30-32 and Seawall Lot 330. If all goes as planned (which we suspect it will), the Warriors could be playing basketball in a brand spankin' new waterfront arena in San Francisco by the 2017 season. [SF Business Times]
