Central Subway construction will continue as planned. A Superior Court judge refused to halt construction in North Beach on the much-delayed underground, as opponents contend it's going to be messier than they ever imagined and they don't even get a subway stop to call their own– North Beach is where the boring machines will exit. Sorry, close your windows, this thing's happening, plus the city would have been on the hook for $25K-per day in penalties. [City Insider/SFGate/Curbed SF]
