The Stanley Saitowitz project at 8 Octavia was supposed to be up for approvals at yesterday's Planning Commission, but instead was continued to September 6. Apparently a few elements of the design weren't in code compliance (ground floor height issues) and the project sponsor wanted to work it all out before going through the hearing. There were a bunch of neighbors there ready to oppose the project, so it looks like the September hearing will be nice and heated– just the way we like it. [SFGov TV/Curbed SF]
