Whale Watch

Lots of Blue and Humpback whales are currently visible off the shore of the Monterey Bay, drawn to the area by a bloom of krill. Dozens of the massive whales have been spotted, with one marine biologist saying "it's nearly impossible to not spot a while right now", and estimating close to 100 whales in the bay right now. If you can't make it to see for yourself, KTVU has a video of the action. [SFist/Photo: SeaLife Conservation]
