The appeal of 601 Dolores is up before the Board of Supervisors again today, after being continued back in late June. As you recall, the church-turned-mansion was purchased by the Children's Day School in 2011, and they have plans to convert it into their middle school classrooms and assembly space. Neighbors directly south of the building say the changes weren't vetted through environmental review and appealed both the environmental exemption and the project approvals. Let's hope the Supes actually get around to it this time and make a final call. We'll let you know how it goes. [SF Gov; Curbed SF]
