Rallying For the CPMC

New, 1 comment

Today is Tuesday, which means the Board of Supervisors will be having their regularly scheduled weekly meeting. With that comes rallies on the steps of City Hall. Today at noon the San Francisco Building and Construction Trades Council will host a rally to support the plan to rebuild the California Pacific Medical Center. The $2.5 billion project will create 1,500 union construction jobs immediately. When the project starts, CPMC is committed to hiring at least 30% of workers from the city and guarantees 200 local hires from underserved neighborhoods. [Curbed Inbox]
