The four-alarm blaze on Boutwell Street near Bayshore Boulevard last week caused nearly $1M in damage and destroyed four homes in the Silver Terrace neighborhood. Police have arrested alleged squatters Ronald Weeks and Erin Kennedy on suspicion of arson. The pair plead not guilty to the charges, and are each being held in lieu of $200,000 bail and will return to court on July 18. [SF Appeal/BCN]
