Lafayette Park As Your Backyard Apparently Not Appealing Enough (Or Is It All That Marigold Paint?)

New, 1 comment

Was: $3,525,000
Now: $3,345,000
You Save: $180,000 We were pretty excited when a unit at the very prestigious 1925 Gough showed up on the market in March. The C.A. Meussdorffer-designed building set a "new standard for luxury" when it was first built (1908) because of the large size of the apartments. We're also quite smitten with the rather regal interiors, but perhaps all that marigold and blue is too distracting for some buyers to make an offer? It would seem so, as the 4-bed, 3.5-bath, 3,983-square-foot (that's $840 per square) unit took a $180,000 price chop. Readers, what'll it take for this fancy piece of real estate to find a buyer (besides the co-op's board approval)? Monthly HOA dues are $1,832 and there's 1-car parking in the garage.
