What It Sold For

In Pacific Heights, the 3-unit building at 2229 Divisadero, once home to architect Julia Morgan— closed this week for $1.775M, $124K over the asking price and in 42 days from start to finish. Presumably with easements in place– a front garden and garage shared with the adjoining (and once-connected to) single story building that housed her office— and that little bit of real estate is still on the market for $1.495M. Miss Morgan acquired and renovated the buildings in the 1920s, living and working there until her death in 1957. [via Redfin, Silvia Damen/TRI, and previously at Curbed SF]
