Russian Hill Jaw-Dropper Gets an Offer

Remember that very expensive Russian Hill wonderland we first told you about back in late March? Two parcels rich with foliage were up for grabs for a cool $6,900,000. One of them has a Willis Polk-designed house on it, the other has a one bedroom cottage, complete with sauna and sunken spa. The current owner's obtained a site permit to renovate and expand the "now dilapidated main house" to approximately 4,360-square-feet. Two days ago its sale went pending. Kudos to whoever is lucky enough to write a check for such a fab spot. [Curbed SF/Redfin]
