Let's Spend The Night

The Inn at The Presidio opens for paying guests today, providing overnight accommodations at the former Army base that don't involve conscription, drill sergeants, or mess halls. In a newly-renovated 1904 officer's quarters, the bed-and-breakfast offers 17 suites and 5 rooms and rates ranging from $195 to $350, furnished in a comfortably but vaguely military style. With the renovation of the historic adobe Officer's Club and a chapel nearby, we predict the Parade Ground could soon become the wedding destination of choice, plus fans of The Mouse now have a place to lay their heads just steps away from the Walt Disney Family Museum.
