Doyle Drive was demolished over the weekend. Unexpectedly, groups gathered at points in the Presidio and elsewhere around the neighborhood to "watch and cheer as sections of the elevated roadway came down," a Caltran official said on Saturday. "It turned into quite an event," Caltrans spokeswoman Molly Graham said. "You have almost a festive atmosphere." Sad that you missed out on all the action?
