1) Fingers crossed for San Francisco: After recently opening boutiques in Toronto and Las Vegas, luxury swimwear and lingerie brand Eres is pondering a San Francisco location, WWD reports. The Chanel-owned brand's Beverly Hills store did well enough to merit an expansion to a 1,200-square-foot space last fall, so more West Coast locations are looking like a good idea. "We have considered expansion in California, and looked at San Francisco as a potential location," Oliver Mauny, managing director at Eres, told WWD. [WWD]
2) Even more potential business: Another retailer eyeing San Francisco is Scoop NYC, seller of fashion-forward men's and women's sportswear. After losing out to Intermix for a coveted spot in Beverly Hills, the company is determined to expand, and tells The Wall Street Journal to look for more of its "ultimate closet" boutiques in San Francisco as well as Los Angeles, New York, Washington, D.C., Houston, and Atlanta. Perhaps they're following the Real Housewives? [The Wall Street Journal]
