This Week In Heavy Metal History

Agent David Bellings recently listed 2505 Divisidero Street, once home to Metallica's Kirk Hammett. It took the famed guitarist four years to sell the place, originally listed at $12M, finally closing in late 2009 for $7.6M according to Property Shark. Pics from the old listing at Luxist. Besides being on one of the best blocks in town, the newly-renovated house still has its recording studio put in place. If pictures appear online we'll put them up. Right now, the asking price is a healthy $9.25M. [Redfin]
