Via Mission Local, a first look at the most recent design for out favorite yet-unborn, not-yet named urban park at 17th & Folsom Streets. With a gestation period that's gone on for a decade, the embattled little bit of green now has the Arts Commission wanting more details before it they'll give it the go-ahead. After almost 11 years of Rec &Parks battling dancers, healthcare workers, and local business owners, now apparently the neighbors aren't too thrilled with it, either because the Arts Commission is involved and may have made some decisions without first consulting them. So while people argue over whose mural tradition shall reign supreme, a parking lot it stays.
