680 Folsom Street, Now With More Tenant

New, 3 comments

TMG Partners and Rockwood Capital announced today that Macy's online business will move into the re-skinned tower at 680 Folsom Street. The retailer signed a lease on almost a quarter-million square feet for 15 years commencing in 2014 according to the press release in our inbox, making the project 80% leased. The 1960s building, originally built for Pacific Bell (mis-identified by us in a previous post as PG&E) will look even more 60s with a new exterior by Craig Hartman and should be ready to occupy in late 2013. And will someday get a plaza- or something, anything- at the bleak corner of Third and Folsom. Kudos to TMG and Rockwood for taking this forward. [Curbed SF]
