One of the many draws of Alamo Square Park is its shoe garden, which is exactly what it sounds like. So imagine some residents surprise to find it one day missing. The shoe garden was removed to make room for a renovation to a nearby bathroom. "It will be OK in the end," said Lisa Zahner, Alamo Square Neighborhood Association President.
