"The relationship between the (San Francisco) supervisors and Candlestick Park and the 49ers is really a corrupt relationship," San Francisco-based attorney and ethicist Peter Keane told the NBC Bay Area Investigative Unit. A total of 76 free tickets are available to San Francisco supervisors and other elected officials each game, including 12 luxury box tickets for the mayor and 12 luxury box tickets for the General Manager of the Recreation and Parks Department. And while the city cites reasons like "increasing public exposure" or "increasing public awareness," some ethicists say the practice should come to an end.
