It's a Go

San Jose's Planning Commission voted 6-0 last night to uphold the Earthquakes' Planned Development Permit, which was necessary since an appeal had been filed by a member of a neighborhood association. That means that construction is a go for a new stadium for the soccer team at 1125 Coleman Avenue in San Jose. "Tonight's decision to uphold the Planned Development Permit that we received in December is a milestone not just for the San Jose Earthquakes but for all Bay Area soccer fans," said Earthquakes President Dave Kaval.
