It's Official

New, 2 comments

As we've previously reported, the Protect Coit Tower Committee, which drafted an initiative to limit commercial activities at Coit Tower, gathered enough signatures (more than 16,000!) to get the measure on the June ballot. The committee only needed to gather 9,702 signatures to qualify, but why stop there when you're backed by one of the most powerful neighborhood groups in the city. And now it's official: the city's Department of Elections certified the measure for the June 5 ballot. [SF Appeal/photo by Caitlin Mirra via Shutterstock]
