Painting the Town Orange

The Historical Society at 678 Mission Street in SoMa is fixing to paint its entire building "international orange," the same color as the Golden Gate Bridge. The paint job, with the paint being provided by Sherwin-Williams, will coincide with the forthcoming Golden Gate Bridge exhibit that celebrates the 75th anniversary of the Golden Gate Bridge. Unlike the exhibit, the Historical Society's paint job is going to be permanent. [SF Weekly]
