Bernalwood contributor David Gallagher got his hands on some very cool footage of Bernal Heights titled 'The Ordeal of Patty Hearst.' Bernalwood writes "As some of you may recall, Bernal was a hotbed of leftist radicalism during the 1970s, and for a time the home at 288 Precita was used as a safehouse by the Symbianese Liberation Army, at the time of the Patty Hearst kidnapping. The footage is from 1979 and was shot on location, where they recreated the capture of the SLA leadership. [Bernalwood]
