Home Sweet Home

Leila Boroughs lived in her 1-bedroom Lower Pac Heights condo for twenty-nine years before she died recently. She left her condo, purchased in 1983 for $100,000, to be “used as a shelter or residence for the homeless." It's now likely to be sold to benefit the Mayor's Fund for the Homeless, and based on local recent sales, is expected to net up to $400,000. All in all, that's a pretty sweet legacy to leave.
