It's quite clear that the San Francisco rental market is hot, hot, hot right now, so here at Curbed we're going to bring you a bevy of rental properties each week for your perusal. This week, we looked for "fairly reasonably" priced places that allow dogs and within a few blocks of a great park. Check out what we found!
Pacific Heights: You and your pup are only a few blocks from the lovely Lafayette Park if you live at this one bedroom on Pine Street. It's $2,395 and is bright and sunny -- perfect for dog naps on the hardwood floors. It appears that it might not actually face busy Pine Street, so it may be less noisy than you'd think. Laundry and an elevator on-site for when you've got to haul the Costco bag of kibble. [craigslist]
Sunset: This one-bedroom for $2,400 is right across the street from Golden Gate Park, which should give you and your furry friend plenty of room to run and play. If the cool Art Deco details weren't enough for you, we love the new kitchen - even though it's small, it's open to the living area which makes it great for having everyone over to meet your new puppy. There's laundry and an elevator here, too, as well as parking for an additional $200. [craigslist]
Portola: On the south side of town, there's a house (yes, a house) with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths for $2,500. You can take your best friend just a few blocks away to McLaren Park, but if it's 3am, he can do his business in your backyard garden instead. The house features a deck overlooking the garden and the SF hills, and a nice-looking kitchen. Parking and a washer/dryer are included, so save your quarters for meters instead. [craigslist]
