One Rincon Hill Phase 2 has finished excavation, and workers have started pouring the foundation's concrete slab. The 50-story Phase 2 tower will include a 3,600 square foot fitness center and a 4,000 square foot "Sky Lounge" on top, and have fewer units than originally approved in 2005, with some 1-bedrooms combined into larger units. According to the Rincon Hill Neighborhood Newsletter, the elevator pit has been dug, waterproofing was put in place, and rebar and concrete are getting filled in. The foundation is expected to be placed on November 17, during which time the Harrison Street off ramp will be closed. [SF New Developments/Previously on Curbed SF]
