Dentistry School to Condos?

When the University of the Pacific's Dugoni School of Dentistry leaves its current Pac Heights campus for their new digs at 155 Fifth Street in 2014, word on the street is TMG wants to convert the site at 2155 Webster into condos. TMG actually sold 155 Fifth Street to the university and helped it obtain approvals to convert it from an office building to medical/educational facility. While some think the property will end up becoming some other medical-related use, neighbors are concerned about the traffic that would bring and would prefer condos. No plans are on the books yet, as the deal to acquire the building and its adjacent surface parking lot is still under contract. [SF Business Times/photo: Google Maps]
