The Main Branch of the San Francisco Public Library is featuring a photo exhibit on the history of Muni. The awesomely named "Cussed and Discussed: 100 Years of the Municipal Railway in San Francisco" acknowledges the love-hate relationship most San Franciscans have with MUNI, and will included archive photos dating back to Muni's origins to celebrate the agency's centennial. Photos are culled from the SFPL and the San Francisco Railway Archive, and should feature some gems not found in their online collections. On November 7, historian and author Grant Ute will give a lecture and slideshow on the history of Muni. The exhibit opens today on the 6th floor of the Main Library, and runs through January 24, 2013.
