This week we're changing it up a bit and leaving the city for our weekly top ten list. We headed across the Golden Gate Bridge and into Mill Valley, one of our favorite places in the North Bay. Mill Valley currently has 37 properties available, 6 of which are undeveloped land that we won't be including. The most expensive piece of property in Mill Valley is a 5-bed, 4.5-bath, 4,980 square foot house asking $5.9M. Below, the ten least expensive properties for sale in Mill Valley.

Asking price: $995,000
Size: 3-bed, 3.5-bath, 2,000 square foot single-family home
Price per square foot: $498
The skinny: This is an absolutely adorable cottage that's being described as a "custom built home w/ sunny disposition & European flair; feels loft-like." It's 3-levels had has highlights like a fireplace and many outdoor spaces.

The skinny: this is a townhouse in Park Terrace. There's a large loft area in addition to the two bedrooms. The only qualm we have is that the private yard needs a little work.

The skinny: This is a cottage that was built in 1908. It's at the top of Mill Valley's newest staircase from Monte Vista to Wainwright. There's a wood-burning fireplace and decks on two levels that overlook trees and a seasonal stream.
