The Bay Bridge turned a big 76 yesterday, having opened on November 12, 1936. There wasn't much of a party - since most people had off for Veteran's Day traffic was pretty light. But the bridge will get its time in the sun later next year, when the Bay Lights illuminated art installation is unveiled in March. And then there's that whole new eastern span opening thing, scheduled Labor Day weekend 2013. [SF Appeal/Photo via Sergio Ruiz]
