Out of 3,500 designs in five different age groups, only five came out winners for the San Francisco Public Library's contest to design new library cards. More than 14,500 people voted. "We can't wait to see these new designs gracing our library card next year for San Franciscans to choose from," said City Librarian Luis Herrera. The library issues about 60,000 new cards every year.
