Planning Releases Green Connections Map

The SF Planning Department has released a map today that highlights streets and paths linking pedestrians, cyclists and wildlife to parks and other open spaces throughout the city. The aim is to better connect people with nature and public green spaces as a means of transportation. The map contains routes people can follow, with themes detailing what wildlife you'd see along the way, like "Presidio to Bay: Monarch Butterfly". Ideally the Green Connections will be used to determine future streetscape designs. The draft map will be available to view and comment on tonight from 5:30pm - 7:30pm at the LGBT Community Center.
