Fell and Oak Bike Project Approved

New, 1 comment

Yesterday the SFMTA Board of Directors gave unanimous approval of the Fell and Oak Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Project. The plan to add separated bikeways, bulbouts, and crosswalk enhancements to Fell and Oak Streets between Scott and Baker is expected to be implemented in phases beginning in the coming months. The SF Bike Coalition reports that the intersection of Oak and Divisadero was the second most dangerous for people walking or biking in San Francisco in 2011 (Market & Octavia being #1).
