While the new 49ers stadium is being built in Santa Clara, San Francisco has submitted a bid to be the host city for the Super Bowl in 2016 or 2017. We'll find out tomorrow if the league selects San Francisco (oh, you mean Santa Clara?) as a contender. Again, the $1B+ stadium is being built in Santa Clara, but 49ers CEO Jed York said on Friday that San Francisco is the team's home and that if the 49ers win a Super Bowl, the parade would be on Market Street.
