The Golden Gate Bridge turns 75 years young this year, May 27 to be exact (at least that's the day it opened to the public). As expected, San Francisco plans to do it big and celebrate the bridge's anniversary with a two-day party along the San Francisco waterfront during the Memorial Day weekend in May. The festival will feature all sorts of goodies, including a classic car exhibit showcasing vehicles from 1937, the year the bridge opened for business. [SF Examiner/photo via Scott Johnson]
