The Community Housing Partnership got a sweet grant to make Eddy Street a little greener. Volunteers and residents of the Arnett Watson Apartments were on hand to plant shrubs and trees last week, not only providing a little bit of green, but also to help manage rainwater runoff. We think the pictures of the event are a pretty nice reminder of how a little neighborly love goes a long way to perk up an otherwise concrete jungle. Congrats on your new plants! [Curbed Inbox]
