Truer words were never spoken- in this case, by SFMTA Director Cheryl Brinkman- on the issue of the new parking meters SFMTA plans to inflict upon SOMA, Mission Bay, parts of the Mission and Potrero Hill. While old-style meters have been a fact of life in SOMA for years the new ones will be priced on demand, with much hollering from Mission residents (and business owners who obviously drive to work) who like their parking unencumbered.
