Six weeks ago a new pack of female baby bison were brought in from a Redding ranch to join Golden Gate Park's older and wiser crew of bison. They were in quarantine until now. Yesterday they joined the original pack in the main paddock. "The bison are truly unique and magnificent treasures of Golden Gate Park, ad we are thrilled that the young and old bison are together now," Phil Ginsburg, general manager of the Recreation and Park Department, said in a statement.
