One Million Bucks Off For Presidio Heights Mega Manse

Was: $8,500,000
Now: $7,500,000
You Save: $1,000,000 We first told you about 3865 Clay back in July when it landed on the market with "spare change in your pockets" price tag of $8,500,000. No, folks, we did not accidentally add a zero. Eight point five million buckaroos was its asking price. Shoot forward a few months and this 7-bed, 6.5-bath Presidio Heights home has not yet found a buyer, so it's lowered its price by a million bucks to the more obtainable $7,500,000. We touched on the staging job in our first post. It seems a little cramped in there, which is hard to do when you're dealing with 7,400 square feet of living space. Commenters chimed in with gems like "it generally feels a bit over-staged? Like Laura Ashley threw up on a JC Penney catalog from 1994." We should remind everyone that the sale does not include the furniture, but we do understand that its difficult to walk through that much square footage and not be persuaded by the decor. That said, will this Victorian find a buyer? Or should we expect another million dollar chop?
