Most San Franciscans who use public transportation to get around have embraced the Clipper card, but there are still some Bay Area transit agencies that haven't made the transition to accepting Clipper cards. That could soon change. According to the SF Examiner, the MTC (which manages Clipper) will begin discussions this Friday on how to incorporate the card into the area's 20 smaller local transit agencies. The MTC is considering moving forward with Clipper card implement first for the Water Emergency Transportation Authority, which is in charge of the Bay Area's ferry service.
