Special Screening

Gary Hustwit's latest film is called Urbanized, and it's the final documentary in his design film trilogy (Helvetica, Objectified). Over half the world's population now lives in an urban area, and 75% will call a city home by 2050. But which badasses are shaping these cities? And how do they do it? By exploring a diverse range of urban design projects in dozens of cities around the world, from massive infrastructure initiatives to temporary interventions, Urbanized frames a global discussion on the future of cities. There will be two screenings of the film at Sundance Kabuki this Wednesday. You can purchase tickets here. Update: the 8pm showing has already sold out. [Curbed Inbox]
